It’s only been three years since Mimi Webb released her first track, now she finds herself with a fully sold-out UK tour. A very quick rise through the ranks, but as her sold out show at the O2 Academy showed it’s been a well-earned rise to fame.

The stacked line up was bolstered by another two rising stars Blake Rose and Henry Moodie. Both seemed to win over the young crowd with Tik Tok friendly tunes and lots of crowd interaction. Henry even chucked in a Taylor Swift cover for good measure.
Mimi’s stage and production was surprisingly sparse considering the size of the stage, but the simplicity kept the focus solely on her. As soon as Mimi appeared at the top of the sets, the crowd went wild, becoming another light source with the amount of phones held up in the air.

Kicking off the set with “Ghost Of You” conjured up an almost deafening singalong from the excited fans. The crowd seemed to sing along with her most of the night, impressive considering the short time her debut album “Amelia” has been out for.
The big pop belters of “Red Flags” and “House on Fire” brought the encore to a danceable end. Mimi is one of Tik Toks true breakout stars, let’s hope she can keep the momentum up to become one of pops biggest stars.
