Mac DeMarco is back with the news that he’ll be playing a string of live shows across the UK, Europe, and North America this year, marking the release of his as-yet-unannounced next LP.

“I have an album coming in August, see you at the shows,” the Canadian multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer and songwriter has shared (straight to the point as ever, Mac). He hasn’t unveiled any further details of the record yet, but it’ll represent his first new music since 2023, when he released fifth studio album ‘Five Easy Hot Dogs  (and, erm, a 199-track project entitled ‘One Wayne G’).

Kicking things off at the end of August in LA, the tour will see him play 12 dates across North America before crossing the pond and treating his continental fans to a show or two, after which he’ll hit the UK for six nights – including one stop at London’s Eventim Apollo.
